This device is capable of playing “Region 1″ DVDs and “Region A” Blu-ray Discs. Besides, that, it can play DVD-Video, DVD-R & DVD-RW, DVD+R & DVD+RW and DivX discs as well. Other formats compatible with this device are CD, audio CD-R & CD-RW and MP3 & WMA CDs. Digital photo CDs of JPEG, Kodak, Fuji are also compatible. Selectable 720p/1080i/1080p video upconversion for DVD is possible in this device.
This device is integrated with audio decoding to PCM for Dolby Digital and DTS. Multi channel uncompressed PCM output through HDMI is also possible. Besides, bitstream audio output through HDMI for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio output is made possible. Brightness, contrast, colour, gamma correction and sharpness of the pictures can be adjusted to your convenience.
Enjoy optimal picture quality with the provided 3D Digital Noise Reduction. Get enhanced sound quality with the pure direct mode. BD-Live and BonusView support are also featured. HDMI-CEC and HDMI version 1.3a with Deep Colour support are supported in this device.
On the connectivity side, the device features 1 set of A/V outputs including composite video, component video and HDMI, stereo audio outputs and coaxial digital audio output. SD memory card slot is also provided in order to store BD-Live material and for digital music and photo playback. IR input for remote repeater systems and Ethernet port are additional connectivity options. Detachable power cord and remote control are accessories provided.
