This Blu-Ray DVD player is capable of playing BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-RE, DVD, DVD+R/ RW, DVD-R/RW, Audio CD and CD-R/RW. The unit supports MP3, WMA, DiVX, JPEG and PNG decoding options. The unit supports Network BD Live (Profile 2.0) through the Ethernet, BD Java (Profile 1.0) and Picture-in-picture (Profile 1.1).
It supports a resolution up to 1080p 24/60 over HDMI and it up scales DVD to 1080p over HDMI. It provides HDMI Output along with the support for Deep Colour and xvYCC Extended Colour Space. It facilitates Component Video Output up to 1080i and Composite Video Output up to 480i and 576i resolutions.
Linear PCM (uncompressed) through HDMI is made possible. For better audio performance, it supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD/MA, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus via HDMI, Optical or Coax. For enhanced audio effects, it also supports DTS through HDMI, Optical or Coax. The unit features analogue 2 channels down mix and supports MHP, which facilitates interactive video.
