As every coin has two sides, this Blu-ray technology has few drawbacks too. Cost becomes unaffordable for most people. But the happiest thing is the considerable decrease in the cost last year. Initially reputed companies were hesitating to use this technology in their brands as they are unaffordable. But now the trend has reversed. Numerous reputed companies like Panasonic, Sony, HP, LG, Hitachi etc have been started to use this upcoming technology in their products. The main reason for the huge popularity is people acceptance in short span of time.
